With Windows 11, Microsoft left a lot of capable machines behind on Windows 10. Even high-end PCs that are still extremely capable still missed the cut, simply because of their PC processor generation.
What is one to do with a PC that is still capable, yet is about to be out of support?
A user could pay for security updates, switch to another OS, or buy a new PC. Wouldn’t it be great if Microsoft would provide some sort of way to continue to stay supported and safe on an older PC? Maybe even a return of the Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs?
A lightweight OS that boosts the performance of older PCs while keeping them up to date would be fantastic.
